The HBCU Championships is more than a sporting event — it’s a movement. A movement that honors the past, celebrates the present, and inspires the future. It is an invitation to embrace the brilliance of HBCUs and to champion their continued impact on education, culture, and society.
The HBCU Championships will be the epicenter for athletic exposure, business growth, and endless opportunities for student success.
HBCUs are imperative to the minority community's ecosystem. As an Atlantan, providing life-changing opportunities to the minority - let alone HBCUs - should be at the core of our city's progressive agenda.

As an HBCU Alum, The HBCU Championships is what we all have been waiting for - to RECOGNIZE our athletes, our schools, and our culture at the highest level.
There is no other city that can accommodate an event of this magnitude. I am eager to see the positive impact that this event brings to schools, businesses, the city, and HBCUs across the country.
