Between March 19th - 23rd, 2025 16 top HBCU teams — 8 men and 8 women — from NCAA Division I, Division II, and NAIA conference compete in an exclusive single elimination post season invitational tournament for national recognition, while celebrating the rich legacy of HBCU excellence.
The HBCU Championships is more than a sporting event—it’s a movement. A movement that honors the past, celebrates the present, and inspires the future. It is an invitation to embrace the brilliance of HBCUs and to champion their continued impact on education, culture, and society.
The HBCU Championships will be the epicenter for athletic exposure, business growth, and endless opportunities for student success. Â
